IT System Implementation/SDLC Lifecycle Project Management—Propoint’s key management personnel has provided direct project management services to mission critical hardware and software implementation projects. These projects have included the executions of all major project management processes, including but not limited to project schedule, cost, quality, risk, issue, change, contract, communications, and procurement management.
Business Process Reengineering—We offer extensive expertise the in discipline of Business Process Reengineering. Our team is proficient at assimilating vast amounts of information quickly to understand the strengths and weakness of the “as-is” environment using structured techniques, as well as facilitating organizations through the process of envisioning and articulating an improved “to-be” future state.

Data Requirements and Analysis—We understand the pivotal role of data in every project. We help our clients understand data needs and the transformation lifecycle of data, from data element to decision useful information. Our services include data requirements, data flow diagramming, data modeling and normalization, and logical and physical database designs.
Feasibility Study Reports—Propoint key management personnel have led and participated in the development of numerous California Department of Finance Feasibility Study Reports. This includes development of a Baseline Analysis, Business Case, Alternatives Analysis, Project Management Plan, Risk Plan, and Economic Analysis.
Request for Proposals and Other Procurement Support—The Propoint team understands the complexities associated with acquiring IT products and services in the government arena. We can effectively articulate your needs and ensure that your procurement achieves the best possible outcome.
Program-based Performance Measures Development—Propoint understands the increased accountabiliy that has been attributed to organizations that receive and distribute bond funds. Propoint is at the forefront of the process to effectively develop an appropriate specification of program-based performance measures necessary to demonstrate outcomes resulting from bond funds.
Organizational Studies—Performance gains often involves some degree of realignment of organization structures and personnel reporting relationships. Our team has experience assessing current orgainziation structures and also developing future recommendations based on a future process reengineering models or other factors. The organizational structure, together with alignment of staff classifications, skills and training plans, can be an important element to achieving business performance that is in balance with technology, process and other factors.

IT Strategic Planning—Propoint key management personnel have led and participated in the development of IT strategic plans for many government organizations. These efforts typically included a baseline technology assessment, IT organization/staffing assessment, IT spending/TCO analysis, visioning, presentation of strategic objectives, and an implementation plan. Project Oversight/IV&V—The chances for a successful large software implementation are often improved through the application of Independent Project Oversight (IPOC) and Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V). With our past experience leading complex projects to completion, we provide constructive insight as a third-party to the implementation team. Using industry-accepted practices, we are able to help uncover project issues and risks before they threaten the success of your project.
Tactical Planning—Propoint personnel have led and participated in the development of a variety of tactical plans. Tactical planning efforts typically included a discovery/data collection phase, and needs/requirements analysis phase, and recommendations phase, and an implementation plan phase.
